As a child, and well into my teens, I wanted to
be a nun. I had chosen a Nursing Order, even
though if you had asked me 'what I wanted
to be when I grew-up' I would have said "I wanted
to be a nun who taught art and music. It was my mom
who wanted me to be a nurse. I'm sure many of you
can relate. Well circumstances and a young man
changed the "nun" plan but I did however explore
the nursing 'path' only to discover that even though
I loved the theory and the science, I just couldn't
handled the practical end, like anything having to do
with blood, needles and the such. I just couldn't
understand why there had to be so much 'pain' and
'gore' involved in practicing the of the art of healing.
I was a 'comfort' kind of gal. So I set out on a
different path.
I have always been aware of 3 things;
1. The subtle yet powerful energy field that surrounds
everything on this planet both animate and inanimate.
2. The power of Prayer.
3. The power that sound/music has on the energy field of
all living things.
In my twenty's I had an inkling that our energy field was
'ground zero' so to speak, in both physical and psychological
health. In my 50's science has proven that 'inkling' to be a
correct one. And the impact that sound, music, and vibrations
have on the health of the human energy field has given rise to a
whole new field of science and education-Music Therapy. If you

And I am sure that you are well aware of the concepts
of
'positive' thinking and the impact that our thoughts have on our
lives. Well the granddaddy of all 'positive' thinking disciplines is
prayer/meditation. To learn more about an ancient and powerful
form of prayer/meditation click
